Prayer Focus: This week the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is our prayer focus. The ACLU has made significant strides in the past 20 years in promoting an anti-Christian attitude in the government, media and education systems in the United States. It has also championed the causes of the homosexual agenda and protecting the “rights” of pornographers and abortionists. The ACLU has become an extremely powerful force in the United States with plenty of financial backing from the various industries it caters to (i.e. adult entertainment, organized crime, etc.). Whether you live in the U.S. or not, it makes sense to pray for the ACLU, as its influence in the U.S. will likely spill over to rest of the world. Sarah's Friend [Friend smoking pot] - My friend fell away from being a Christian a year ago. She has been smoking pot for a long time. Last year, she checked into a drug rehab center. This last weekend, she showed me some pot and a new pipe she got recently. She asked if I would smoke with her, but I said no. Please pray for my wisdom and safety as I attempt to continue being a Christian witness to her. Please also pray that Jesus will draw her back to Him. One of the biggest burdens in my life has been watching her fall so far away from Jesus, when I love her so much. Thank you.

I tried to commit suicide on March 31st (good Friday), but after 3 days in ICU, God spared my life. I am now on my own in California, trying to find my way. I was on drugs for a long time, and still fall back into temptation, every now & then. Please pray for me. I am praying for myself. But I know that prayers in number are so powerful. Margie - Drug use and salvation - Please pray for Margie, she has had a long history of substance abuse and was just diagnosed with hepatitis C, a very serious disease. I know she wants to find the Lord, but has been unable to get over her destructive behavior. Her entire family for several generations have had similar problems with drinking etc. She needs healing, deliverance and salvation.

She is very rebellious against authority whenever she is around him. She recently left home to be with him. He lives in a very unsafe environment surrounded by drugs and violence.
