My name is Leah Wood and I live in Western Australia
with my dog "Snowie". She is a blue-heeler crossed with kelpie.
Snowie is mainly white with black markings. Snowie's problem is that she
always feel the need for attention and is constantly whining to me.
Snowie is also not very obedient. Please pray for Snowie that she
receive the Holy Spirit's intervention and love that she may become a
better pet to my boyfriend and myself. Thanks for all concerned who
give prayer. Thanks LSW. Leah WOOD <

Cheddar is
home! She is one psychedelic baby - yellow bandages around her middle and
hot pink on her leg. She stopped breathing during surgery, so they stopped
the operation when two mast cell tumors had been removed. Please ask the
SPR Prayer Warriors to pray that her cancer doesn't spread to any major
organs. If that should happen, the prognosis is not good. Even after all
she went through today, she is still giving us the best kisses in the
world!
Bob Hope had the surgery today on his paw. The biopsy
report won't be back for 2-3 days but the vet doesn't think it looked
malignant. He's in quite a bit of pain tonight and he's eating! God is
good! Thank you and the SPR prayer warriors for all the prayers said on
Bob's behalf. He is a joy to love.

I just wanted to send a "group" thank you to all of you that answered my
request for prayers for our beloved Neelix. I am so happy to report that
his liver enzyme value is down from over 2700 to a little over 1000! While
that's not in the normal range, it's headed in the right direction. And,
his ultrasound was perfectly normal, making us suspect it was the Imuran
that caused the spiking ALT level.
Although I tried to thank each one individually, I'm sure I've missed a
few in the confusion of the worry. So, again, thank you all for keeping us
in your prayers. We do so love our Bichon boys...

cookiebell@hotmail.com Please pray for complete healing for Shayna.
She is a female, 10 year Rottweiler with Diabetes, Tumor(s) and
cataracts. The Doctor said she would need surgery to remove tumor(s) but
first her sugar has to be regulated. Because of her age there is a risk
to her life.
I had to put my horse down. His name Mr. B he was a
10year old sorrel he gave his heart in everything he did. He had stomach
cancer. Although we can not bring him back I would like a prayer that
the l Lord will watch over him in heaven .

My sweet cat of only 10 years--Biddy--has
been diagnosed with liver cancer. We had her operated on last month for a
cancer in her mammary gland. She will not eat and sleeps in the back of
the closet where the litter box is. I have tried every food I can think
of to entice her to eat--but she will not. In a months time, she has
dropped from a healthy 12.6 lbs. to 9.3. Please pray for my little girl
and ask God's angels to fold their wings around her. And if there are any
additional wings, her mom, Mary, could use some comforting. Mary Parsons <goat_mama@hotmail.com>
Please pray for my pet, Minnie, who I just received. I
feel that she is dyeing and is in need of prayer. Please pray that she
will recover. thank you for your kind thought.
A friend of mine in CA is having trouble with her pets' health. Mikita
has been sick all week, and she has to take her to the Veterinarian this
afternoon after work.
Her former police Dog -- T/C has been retired from service, and he
has had to get some major dental work done... he is having trouble eating
and such.
Can you please add these 2 animals of PeggiSue to your prayer request
list?

My 2 yr. old poodle/terrior mix, Riley, is very very ill right now. He
is in the animal hospital undoing intravenous treatment for possible
parvo or coronavirus. His chances are 50-50. This little dog has filled
our home and hearts with unconditional love. No words could possible
express how much he is loved and needed. Please pray for my Riley. God
Bless and many thanks, Riley's Mom Terry Richard <

We brought Lady home yesterday morning. Friday afternoon, the vet had
to remove the whole left eye!! This is the third time the tumor has
grown back and was much worse involving the back of the eye, too. The
vet said Lady endured the anesthesia like a 3 yr. old. He was so
surprised at her strength. He said, "That little rascal has a lot of
heart!" He's giving her a hormone treatment to help with the swelling
of reproductive parts and hopefully stop the skin irritation, too. She
itches all over and her skin oozes like perspiration.
Lady is doing well with good appetite and strength. She was happy to
get home! She sleeps most of the time, which is best for her right
now. Thanks for your prayers! Please, continue to pray for her healing
and recovery.

Please, also pray that our 16 yr. old mixed breed, Corrie, will gain
weight. Since our moved, he has become quite thin, too thin. He eats
well, and has energy to run all over his yard. Corrie is one of our
rescues. He has three legs, due to necessary amputation after a car ran
over his left front leg. If he doesn't begin to gain weight, his body
will eat what muscle he has having no fat to use.

Early this Friday morning, our 14 1/2 yr. old Lhasa Apso, Lady, will be
having surgery to remove a tumor covering her entire left eyeball. This
is the third time. The first two were small green pea sized tumors, but
this time it spread. The vet said that she also needs to be spayed, but
only if she is doing well during the removal of the eye tumor. He said
he will stop at any point, if she begins to have problems. Lady is
spunky and has a good appetite. Please, pray she has the strength to
endure this surgery and will recover quickly and well.

Please add our Neelix to your prayer list. For several years, we've been
battling IBD. Now his liver enzyme results (the ALT) have sky rocketed to
2700 - 100 is normal. He seems to feel fairly good and is eating as usual,
but this is a very scary time for us. Tomorrow at 4pm, he's having an
ultrasound to see what might be causing this. Of course, they're checking
for cancer and other typical liver problems. Please keep him in your
thoughts. As are most Bichons, he's so sweet and gentle. My heart aches
for all he's endured in his short (5 year) life, as he was mistreated
before we got him at 4 1/2 months of age, and he has had chronic health
problems throughout these last 4 years. But, he's been cherished and
pampered by me, my husband, and his Bichon brother, Data. Well, maybe Data
doesn't pamper him, but he does show some brotherly affection :-)

Please pray for our dog Cory. She is 14 years old and has been the best
child ever. She gave us a big scare last year when she became very ill
and would bleed out from a low blood count. They said it was a miracle
that she survived. Now almost a year to the day, she is losing
movement of her rear legs due to the bulging of disc in her back. She
has good and bad days, but her health was doing so good up to this
point. They are trying to adjust medications to help her, but so far no
luck. Our son will not even see in his own room because his "sister"
is not with him. Please say prayers for her. Thank you.... Harry Kubis

functionally normally again, and for him to stop vomiting. We need your
hope, strength, faith, and love..... thank you!
Please
pray for Casey and Buddy. Casey is a wonderful friend of mine,

Please pray for Cleo, a precious miniature collie, who
is having surgery this week to remove 2 lumps from his neck.
Also, for Dolores's granddaughters adorable little puppy, who
cries terribly when she leaves the house. He cries until she comes home
Our little dog, Lady, has to have a tumor removed from
her left eye again, plus they want to spay her as she's having problems
with the reproductive system. She'll be 15 in Dec., so I pray she can
survive the surgery. She's seems strong and has a good appetite. The vet
said they will do the eye, then start the spay if she is doing well and
stop at any point if she begins to have problems. Please pray for her.
I couldn't write sooner because I am a mess but Peaches went home to God
early Monday the 28th. I woke up and she was gone. Even though I miss her
more than I can put into words I have to say thank you for your prayers
because I know that they helped stop her suffering. Thank you so very much
for all your prayers and support. I want to share with you a dream I had
before I woke and found her. God came to me in my dream and I asked Him if
I would ever see Peaches again. Well the loving awesome God He is he took
my face in his hands and said "yes my child you will see Peaches again"
Our precious little Minnie is in the hospital since 2 am this morning. She
is having severe seizures and hey are having a hard time controlling them.
Even under heavy sedation she is still having them. Two veterinarians have
each told us in different ways it does not look as if she is going to make
it. They think she may have had a stroke, or it may be a brain tumor. They
are doing all they can for her, right now they are calling it epileptic
seizures. She is with the best vet I know.
Minnie will be 4 next month she is still a baby, I need as many prayers as
we can to help her. I just left her and will be going back in a bit. I
can't cope with the fact I may lose her, please help me, I cant lose my
baby girl.

Widget still seems to feel well, although he is losing his hair. You can't
see it from a distance, but up close it's very obvious. We find big chunks
of hair on the floor. But as you would say, Robin, that means that the
chemotherapy is working. He has also had diarrhea, and we cover the
bedroom floor with newspapers since our bedroom is on the second floor and
we can't get him outside in time. He still wants to play ball, however,
and his appetite is great. The vet told me to give him pepto bismol, and I
can tell it's not made for a doggie's taste. I crush it with spoon, take a
piece of chicken breast, cut almost through and butterfly open the two
ends. Then I sop up the pepto bismol powder on the chicken and fold it
back together and give it to him. It works pretty well. He won't take it
in peanut butter. We are still hoping for a miracle, and if we can't have
that, I just want him to feel well, which he has so far.
MLeeHess@aol.com
Just wanted to give you an update our precious little Zoe. She is doing
better but has some challenges. (So what is new in her little life?) She
seems to be meeting the uncertainties and the anxieties with her usual
incredible courage and spirit.
After three trips to the vet here and a long day at Virginia Tech it was
determined that her bile acids are high and there was a trace of digestive
tract problems. Those issues are being treated with full recovery
expected. The more difficult news is the appearance of a disease called
SARDS or Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration. This is a disease with no
known cause and no way of treatment. It causes blindness very rapidly.
Sometimes it slows for a while, sometimes not. Zoe has greatly reduced
vision, but still has normal ocular findings. This means that there could
be optic nerve or brain disease. There is no connection with Zoes past
issues and this one. There is no relationship to her past or current
lifestyle. The Doctors don't know how long she has had this and it is
difficult to tell specifically because she has compensated so well with
hearing and scent that it appears that she is always looking at you. In
the meantime, she is still walking and is very mobile. She still interacts
with the others and is the most precious darling in the world. We are
certain that prayer and care will help and there is no lack of those
unmeasurable intentions for her on this coast. Your adding her to the SPR
prayer list may just get us over the hump! Thanks Robin. Much love, Joan &
Pat Daphne, Ginnie, Cassie, and of course Zoe.<
Joanborders@aol.com
On a side note, next time you
write about prayer requests, could you include my Bichon Lila in there?
She's having very bad allergies this year and we're still trying to figure
out what else she's allergic to besides grass and pine pollen. Her paws
are permanently brown and we've done everything, even allergy shots, which
only helps for a few days. To me, Lila is one of those 'once in a lifetime
change my life for the better' kind of dog and i just don't want her to be
uncomfortable.

just
a quick prayer request for Dandy Lion (adopted in May). Our vet says he
may have some type of paulsey in his face ... we first noticed an eye that
was continually wet/weepy and after about a week with some medication the
vet had given us for our other dogs, we took him in. He noticed that his
left eye does not shut/blink at all ... the right one does somewhat. He
thinks it may be because of chronic ear infection or who knows. Anyway, we
are taking him in on Monday for a complete neurological work up, X-rays of
his ears, head, etc. Will you please place Dandy Lion on the community
prayer list. He is such a sweet, friendly guy and he has been through so
much with 8 years at the puppy mill and he just needs a MIRACLE really bad
now. I know God can change this whole situation and I just that the Small
Paws Prayer Warriors bombard Heaven on Dandy's behalf. We'll certainly
appreciate it. Thanks to everyone!!! This is important and URGENT for
Dandy!!!
Please please pray for my Peaches, she is a 15 year
old Yorkie and is so very sick and in pain. Too much wrong with her to
mention. I don't know what to do? I pray that God stops her pain even if
it means for her to go home to him. Although I will be missing a part of
me until we meet in heaven. Help me please and Peaches. I don't know what
else to do. I don't even know if she will make it through the night.
Oscar is a 13 yr old male Persian.
Last week, I took him to the groomers for a hair cut and when I picked
him up he had 2 niches the size of quarters under his front legs and they
were bleeding. The groomer said he was matted and couldn't be helped. I
was pissed off and got in the car and started driving to the vet to have
Oscar looked it. Once in the car, I looked over at Oscar and he had
blood coming out of his mouth!. I ran back into the groomers and
yelled and asked what this was from. They claimed Oscar must have chewed
on something in my car and it was not their fault. It was pointless to
argue, but I was pissed. I drove immediately to the vet. The vet
said two of his teeth had been knocked out and were loose and he needed
surgery to have them removed. The doctor also recommended that we clean
his teeth at this time as well. But before he could do this, he needed
to draw blood and make sure Oscar is in good health. The blood work
came back with problems. The blood tests showed that Oscar was starting
to experience Chronic Renal Failure. The vet said we could help prolong
his life if we adjust his diet and look into other possible options.
Anyway, I was in tears over this .. but we still needed to do the
surgery for the teeth and that is why I am writing this letter. The
vet recommended that Oscar stay overnight and they hook him up with IV
fluids during and after the surgery to help prevent more problems with his
CRF. The surgery did not go well and Oscar had some blood clotting and
neurological damage. The doctor is treating Oscar with steroids and wants
to keep him for 2-3 more days and see if his condition will improve. I
will be leaving shortly to see Oscar and find out more information on
what our options are at this point. I am praying for a miracle. Simple

Oh nooooo - PLEASE put out a request NOW - Bijou hasn't been acting well
(my 10 yr old female) for a couple of days and I brought her in for a full
workup and her platelet count is down to 22,000 - normal low is 170,000!!!
Her red blood cells are also deforming and under attack. My vet said she
has an autoimmune disease and she's now hospitalized and they started her
on steroids and heprin (she has a potential to bleed out) and are going to
run more tests and take full body x-rays. My baby is too young to
die....please God don't let her die! I'm looking at an estimate of $1500
so far and the devastating thing is they don't know if she's going to
respond and there's really no "cure." I don't know anything about
autoimmune disease or treatment of it and I need to go on line and start
researching it and will contact the Whole Dog Journal because I know
they've had info on it. I also had her records faxed to a well-respected
holistic vet and am setting up a consultation to discuss treatments and
alternatives. I'm so devastated I can barely function and I have so much
other crap going on right now.
My Family - Hi
I need prayer for my pets. The place they are at they can't stay anymore.
They each need to find a home or what we want is for another place for
them ALL to stay. If that is not possible than they all need a GOOD home.
We know God has a plan and we want for people to pray that is comes to
recognition for us. Thank you in advance for pray and I hope your prayers
get answered. God Bless, Adriane

Hi, We are from Southern Maryland - My Bubba
(cat), who is almost 13 years old, has been battle something, and we don't
know what it is. He finally hit bottom July 4th, and just started
deteriorating dramatically. Our vets think it is either intestinal cancer
or inflammatory bowel disease. Our only option now is exploratory
surgery, He is currently admitted and will be going under surgery
tomorrow. But he's so bad off now, they might not even do it. So I pray
and I ask for gods healing and everyone else's prayers for him.. to please
try to recover and gain some strength back for his surgery and for it to
be a positive outcome. We need all the support and prayers we can get.
That's my first baby :( And it happened so abruptly.....So lets hope for
miracles here people. I'd appreciate it.
Well, I'm
swamped so not much time to go into detail but I got 4 OTI's today, 3
females and 1 male (the father). We need an urgent prayer request to go
out. Was supposed to pick up 5 and when I went to the home the lady told
me one had just gotten away and she could catch her. This is a woman that
picked them up from the owner of a house that she sold and the lady was 82
yr old and senile and the daughter had come to move her back with her to
Vegas and only wanted to let her have 3 of the dogs. She had 8!!! The
mother and father and 6 offspring. The broker picked them up (they
basically were going to leave them abandoned there or take them to the
pound and this was a last min connection between me and the broker) and
took them to her house and when she pulled into the driveway and opened
the door to get them out, one bolted. I got there as fast as I could (out
in the boondocks) and helped look but it was like a needle in a haystack!
she's at the base of the mountains and we had no luck. The good thing is
that she knows everyone in the neighborhood and we told just about
everyone including the mailman. She printed signs and is posting them and
I'll contact the local shelter tomorrow to get the description out. It's
coyote territory!:( The girl is really timid and I think she headed for
the hills. iwngit@comcast.net
My request is for my angel
Peaches. She is 15 and a half years old, blind, diabetic etc. Lately she
has not been feeling well, and gets herself into trouble like corners or
predicaments she cant get herself out of. Please pray for her safety,
health and that she does not suffer. Thank you so much! From:

Please pray for for cat. She has been with me since
I was in 8th grade. Last year she was attacked by a coyote and survived. I
have thanked god for everyday I have had with her especially after the
attack. However, she has developed permanent brain damage as a result of
the attack. She suffers from seizures as well as can't walk and constantly
cries. I have tried to make her as comfortable as possible but I think it
is time to put her out of her suffering. Please pray for my wonderful cat,
she has been nothing but wonderful and please give me the strength to help
me make the right decision. Thank you so much. ~Connie and Brie the

Please pray for the healing of our dog Elmo...about 3 years ago he injured
his spine and the vet wanted to put him to sleep, but we decided not to do
that, We prayed for him and he was healed ...now the problem is back with
arthritis and he is in pain ...please pray for healing and for his
comfort, thank you and God Bless
Will you please pray for my dear cat, Mandy?
She is loosing her appetite and
in turn is loosing weight. Please pray for complete healing and for her to
gain energy and to start eating and gaining some weight. myriam <myrjean@bresnan.net>
I
would like some prayers for our little Daphne dog. She had surgery
yesterday on a growth on the back of her leg. The surgery went well. The
vet was able to remove the entire growth. Now, the wait from pathology.
Just hope it's good news. Daphne is in good spirits and eating today. In
fact, it's hard to get her to be still.
Read about the Tide detergent. How awful. Any detergent accessible to
animals is bad, but let me let share something about Tide and all Proctor
and Gamble products. They test all their products on animals, which I
don't have to tell you, is gruesome. Therefore we should boycott all T & G
Products. Please pass that on.
AerobSueto@aol.com
Will you please include my little Queen Bea on the prayer request page.
She will be 12 years old on Tuesday. She has been dealing with
Degenerative Bone Disease for a year now. Today she experienced an episode
of severe pain and crying like I have never heard from her before while
she was having her monthly grooming session. I could not comfort her and
it was apparent that she needed to see the doctor( vet). I immediately
took her into the vet and after x-rays and some other testing it was
concluded that Bea has a hairline fraction in her back leg. Her bones are
getting so brittle that it just cracked. She is much more comfortable now
after seeing the vet and being back home with her blanket and in my arms.
I carry her almost all the time since I found out about her condition 1
year ago. She has always been a very special little one to me. Will you
send a prayer her way that we can keep her comfortable.
jmrgood@cloudnet.com
If I could ask you all to pray for our smallest
dog, Cinnibuns. She slipped out the back gate this a.m. and we can't find
her anywhere. We've looked and looked and have people looking for her.
She's the "baby" of our dogs that we love so much....the other two dogs
are her parents. She means so much to us, .....like family, and we just
would really like for her to be safe and to come home. (attached is a pic
of her) Also, prayers for our spiritual Mom, Myrtle.....her Parkinson's
disease is getting worse and she can't stand up right now and is in pain.
We've come to love her SO much in a short time. She's an Angel. Thank you.
Update: Haven't found her yet. It's been 24 hours and
we've looked everywhere. People are searching for her and the city knows
about her and the animal shelters and our vet because she has her rabies
tag on with their phone # and address. There is also a website that I can
check for new dogs brought in to all the shelters and am checking that a
lot and praying. It's really tearing up all of us, but my husband the
most. He looked with our nieces and nephew for Cinni for 6 hours yesterday
and cried a lot and couldn't sleep. She's our "baby", so he's feeling
helpless. As SOON as we hear anything, I will for sure let you all know.
Prayers have been coming in from all over and I thank you all so much for
that and mostly God!
We would greatly appreciate prayer for our two beloved cats Bebe and
Vienna. Bebe is having eye problems and Vienna has an enlarged heart.
Thank you for prayers. Robert and Anne Gillmann <

I have sent in a prayer request for me and my son, but I want prayer for
my pets too. I have 2 dogs and a cat. My prayer is for a home for us. I
live in a one bedroom apt with my sister, it is her apt my name is not on
the lease. My dogs are in a kennel and it is sapping every dollar I have.
My cat is with me at my sister's apt, but is not suppose to be here. Pray
for me to obtain a home for my pets and me. My credit is bad, so I'm
asking God for a lease/option, the Lord I believe has already picked the
location, and a good job to go along with it, so I can take good care of
them and also be able to help others, which to me is one of the joys of
life. I enjoy it tremendously.
Please add my little pug Buddy to your
prayer list. He has bladder/penile stones that are causing him great
pain and now the vet thinks that his liver may be causing these stones.
They are going to do an ultrasound Wednesday 6/18 and probably surgery
to remove the stones in his bladder, after that, possibly liver
surgery. He's been such a trooper with all the tests and has been in
the hospital for 4 days now. This little guy came to me at a very
difficult time in my life two years ago and has given me so much
pleasure and love, he is my best friend. Please pray for him for a
positive prognosis and recovery.
